Foundation for Human Development, Inc. (“FHDI”) collects certain information at its web site (the “Site”) such as the Site user’s (the “User”) name and identification number assigned to the User by the organization with which the User is affiliated. Additionally, FHDI will store the information entered by the User while participating in the learning exercises so that the User can access the information during future sessions or exercises. The information that the User enters is only used to assist the User in completing and benefiting from the learning exercises. FHDI will not share the User’s information with any other person or entity without first obtaining the User’s consent, unless required by law. The User’s information may be accessible by FHDI’s vendors (e.g., the host of the Site), but such vendors are bound to use the information only as necessary to perform services on behalf of FHDI.

FHDI reserves the right to use “cookies” to record information used to track the learning exercises that the User has completed or otherwise record past activity to provide better service, alert the User to new areas of the Site, or customize Site content based on Users’ interests. Cookies are small text files that do not damage the User’s system or files. If a User does not want cookies on his or her hard drive, the User should be able to delete them and/or block them from being stored on the User’s computer.

The Site is not targeted to children and is not intended to be used by anyone under the age of 13. FHDI does not knowingly solicit or collect personal information from or about children.

FHDI uses various organizational and technical measures to protect the User’s privacy and avoid the unauthorized use or disclosure of the User’s personal information; however, no transfer of information over the Internet is completely secure. While FHDI uses reasonable efforts to protect a User’s information on FHDI’s systems, when information is transferred over the Internet, it may be accessed and used by unauthorized third parties. FHDI shall not be liable for any disclosure, unauthorized use, loss, damages, expense, harm or inconvenience resulting from the loss, delay, interception, corruption, intervention, misuse or alteration of any personal information due to any reason beyond FHDI’s reasonable control.
